With the trend for natural pet foods growing, Webbox Natural were taking their brand on television for the first time. However, they needed a wider campaign to support this activity and turn the increased exposure in to increased sales.

Solution

Understanding that a multi-channel approach helps to increase campaign effectiveness, we used trends data to assess which channels would be key to pet-owners throughout the buying journey, from awareness through to purchase.

Featuring emails, press ads, direct mail, POS, product brochures and paid digital advertising, One created a campaign to land messages at every stage of the customer journey.

However, with word of mouth being one of the most trusted sources of information amongst this audience, we couldn’t stop there. Social media would also be a key channel for improving loyalty and advocacy metrics.

Result

The first phase of the campaign brought strong sales, positive feedback from consumers and resulted in a swathe of new retailers stocking the range. The campaign also saw Webbox Natural’s social community grow by 58%, with a massive 1,274% increase in engagement.
